Farewell 602 North, VAL does digital distribution with Apple I-Tunes

Hello, everyone. It has been a while. I have been intentionally low key. Just wanted a lull before the storm. Unfortunately, I was forced out of hibernation, with the news I received today. Our most beloved stage if closing it’s doors! Over the last few years, 602 North has really been our home. We played there more than any other club. They have always been great to us, and were a bright light shining in the west suburban night. Allowing original bands to play the burbs. The stage, sound, and lights were top notch. It was a great place to play. For personal reasons, the owners have decided to take some time off. I am not sure what the future holds for 602, but the owners haven’t ruled out anything, and may decide to re-open in the future. THANK YOU Vicky, and the whole 602 North family.

Well, VAL has it’s first digital sale under it’s belt! "Midnight Angel" from Up the Love was purchased via Apple I-Tunes in late November. We have also received some sales from Rhapsody.com. Almost all the songs from Up the Love have been purchased through Rhapsody using a monthly subscription format.

Later,
Rick
