James (THE BAND) is BACK!

James letter to the fans 2007

Yes, James has reformed in Britain and will be releasing new material along with a tour.
I’m not sure if they are gonna hit the states or not. They always had a bit of a problem with support here and have always been way bigger overseas.

I know that this might not be big news to some, but James were a major influence for us. Especially for Andy and I. Lots of memories.

Click on the picture above to see the hand written letter by Jim (from James) regarding the reformation.

New JAMES website

PS – I wonder if they will get Andy Diagram back on trumpet for the tour ?

Thanks to Desiree for the information.

Dusted off the original Twilight Singers Disk today. (Twilight as Played by the Twilight Singers)
It's sounding sweeter and more stunning than ever before. After 2006's Powder Burns Tour, it seems
like a long lost son. Man, this thing is dark. It would be a good soundtrack to a brothel!

Check out this stunner : TWILIGHT.wma

Bear Down

Not since I was a little lad, have the Bears been in the Superbowl, and I have to say that it gave me the chills yesterday afternoon as the clock ticked down to zero and reality set in. These are special times in Chi-Town and I can't wait for this years BIG game.
I hear a talented man will be putting on the half time show.

Endless Sky - Acoustic Practice Tape

Here's a little treat for yah.. It's an acoustic version of a very very old VAL song. This tune was actually created over 15 years ago, in the first band that Andy and I created. It's stuck around in our heads and we recently played it at our acoustic Stadium West show this past October. This mp3 is a rehearsal recording. Check out the homage to THE DOORS at the end!

Vultures are Lovebirds - Endless Sky (Acoustic) MP3

PS - it's only available for download for the next 7 days

It’s been a while

We are getting back into the swing of things over at the “Love Den” on Berenice, and we are in the beginning stages of our new recording. I had to miss recording this week because of a strained back (don’t ask) but we will be tracking our song “Just One More” this coming Tuesday.

BTW, we are looking for a February gig. So, any bands or clubs out there that need a quality act, please contact us at lovevultures@yahoo.com. Posted by Picasa
